LIVING IN THE Q’EROS COMUNITY 7 DAYS AND 6 NIGHTS
THE LAST INKA COMMUNITY
Visiting the Sacred Mountains ( Apus ) the snowy Mountains. They are the protectors together with Pachamama ( Madre Tierra ).
The Q’ero Nation Communities still keeping the Andean religion customs and traditions from the Inka ancestors, making rites and Ceremonies.
The last remaining Inka, who live in isolated mountaintops in the Andes. They still speak the pure Q’echua language, and have had little contact with either the church or the state in the last five hundred years.
The Q’ero are the legendary keepers of the Inka prophecies.
The Inka Spiritual and healing practices were transmitted orally. It persists in the Andes because it is the only land in the Americas where the Shamanic practices still thrive on a large scale.
The Idea that these medicine people still spoke with rivers and trees and conversed with God made them even.
Doña Laura and Don Manuel Quispe. Each of these sages represented one of the roots of the Inka people. Many of these masters have since passed away.
ITINERARY
First day.- Departure from Cusco 8:00 a.m. directly to cheqtak’ucho. We pass colourfull towns Urcos, Catca, Kaure, Ocongate, T’inki, Mawayani. The highest point is Walla Walla ( 4760 m.s.n.m. ) and we used 8 hours transportation.
Second day.– We start to walk al most eight o’clock a.m. Watching the small villages made with stone walls and ichu grass roofs. From the first pass you can see far a way Vicuñas wild animals llama’s relative. Later we are going to descend to Kikok’ucho and climbing to the second pass. Aproximatly 5:00 p.m. we will arrive to Wallata pampa.
Third day.– Around mid day we will stay in the Huchuy Q’eros Community ( 3900 m.s.n.m. ) for sharing the Lunch with locals shamans and families. In the afternoon and during the night making the offerings for the Mother earth and fire Ceremonie.
For the Spiritual Mountains.
Fifth day.-Individual works with shamans and free afternoon.
Sith day.- We will start very early 7:00 a.m. straight to Cheqtak’ucho and aproximatly 5:00 p.m. we stay in the campsite .
Seventh day.-Retourn to Cusco and end our services.
