WILLOQ COMMUNITY – OLLANTAYTAMBO / 6 DAYS AND 5 NIGHTS
DAY 1.- LIMA – CUSCO.- Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon there will be a guided tour of the city and architectural samples from the Inca and Colonial period with landscaping and latent experiences both in the city of Cusco and its surroundings.
Visiting the Cathedral which was built on the Inca foundations of the great Palacio de Wiracocha contains around 400 paintings of the Cusqueña School, and works in gold leaf, carved wood covered with silver embossed.
Visit to the temple of Qoricancha, Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay.
DAY 2.- VISIT TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS.-
The Sacred Valley begins in the Colonial population of Pisaq, that maintains 80% of its constructions divided in four residential groups with terraces of culture (platforms).
Approximately between 11 to 12 noon we are in the typical market of Pisaq, where you can see the exchange of products (barter) and the sale of handicrafts. Later we will go to Urubamba where we will have lunch typical of the region.
Continuing with the visit we will arrive at the indigenous capital of Ollantaytambo that maintains its traditions and experiences.
Finally we will be in Chincheros another Inca city that maintains its clothes, customs and customs, We return again, but this time to the hostel of the town of Ollantaytambo.
DAY 3 – OLLANTAYTAMBO – PUMAMARKA – WILLOQ.- After breakfast we will start our walk to the last Pumamarka precinct in about two hours, in the afternoon we will continue our walk to the community of Willoq where we will spend the night.
DAY 4.- WILLOQ
Today we will participate fully in the activities of the settlers, such as the preparation of the land, the drill, the preparation of pachamanka (Andean food).
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, prepared together with the locals.
DAY 5.- WILLOQ
It is our last day of coexistence with the villagers of the Community of Willoq we will enjoy it to the maximum, we will visit with them their craft of fabrics, in the afternoon after a small farewell we will be returning to the city of Cusco.
DAY 6.- TRANSFER HOTEL – AIRPORT.
