CIRCUITO MOLLEPATA – HIDROELECTRICA – MACHUPICCHU / 5 DAYS AND NIGTHS
DAY 1.- CUSCO – SUYROQOCHA.-
We leave Cusco at 6 a.m., picking up from your hotel. When we are in the ugar called Tika Tika we will have the first panoramic view of the snowcapped Vilcabamba, the Salkantay and the Umantay, during the tour we will pass through Andean villages, specifically the pampa of Anta, Iscuchaca with corn, potato, beans and vegetables. Around 9:00 a.m. we will arrive at Mollepata District (2,900 m) and then continue to the end of the road called Soraypampa, where we will taste our first lunch. In the afternoon we will ascend to the lagoon of Suyroqocha site of our first night.
DAY 2.- SUYROQOCHA – CHAULLAY (Qolpapampa).-
We will have our wake-up tea at 6:00 am We will immediately appreciate the majestic Nevado Salkantay illuminated by Astro el Sol. Breakfast will be at 7:00 am later we will start our trek to Umantay habra (4,500 m) excellent place for Take views of both valleys. From here we will start down a winding path to the side of streams. Around noon we will be at the Wayraqmacha’y lunch place. From this place we will find vegetation of the Puna Qheswa area, until reaching the Yunga area, we really penetrate the cloud forests, with a variety of plants, trees highlighting the cedar, bamboo, orchids, begonias. Overnight in Chaullay Sector – Qollpapampa.
DAY 3.- QOLLPAPAMPA – PATALLAQTA.-
We continue descending until Sawayako (beach) where we will have lunch. After half an hour of hiking, we will arrive to Luqmabamba and ascend to Patallaqta which is our camp.
DAY 4.-
We will head towards the Hydroelectric in two hours of descent, later, we will take the road of the railway line to Puente Ruinas.
DAY 5.-
Visit of the Inca city of Machupicchu. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train.
